There is much to admire about Bangkok's Rocket Coffee Bar, the stylish brunch spot situated in the heart of the up and coming neighborhood around Sathorn. The small space looks delightful, thanks to an abundance of light, plenty of warm wood tones and little details like chrome coffee machines, glossy magazines, books and merchandise. It looks like the kitchen we all dream of having, right down to the white marble counter where staff are hard at work prepping their short, but sweet, menu of idealized brunch dishes.
It certainly has done the trick, drawing in people looking for simple breakfast options, boasting one of the best eggs benedicts in Bangkok and maybe one of the best I have ever tasted. Their eggs are perfectly done and their fresh fruit, yogurt bowl with granola is a breakfast delight.
With its white marble counter tops, chrome coffee machines, light woods and hints of blue, this café brims with Scandinavian style. Serving up Instagram-worthy drinks, like their Jaffa Cold Brew with dark chocolate and orange. This is a great place to while away a morning or an afternoon, while you escape the warm temperatures of Bangkok.
Rocket is known for their coffee from the traditional Espresso-based hot and iced coffees to the Aeropress / Filter Brew coffees and has a series of Signatures Coffees that are not only inventive but downright delicious.
Personally I love their flat white coffees. They have a rich, smooth integrated texture reflecting a balance of milk and espresso. They have a perfect mouthfeel of velvety foam and liquid milk.
